Tony the Pony -

Tony was born with short tendons in his front legs; this means that he walks on the front of his hooves. We were advised by a vet (not ours) and a farrier to put him down, but we admitted him to the vet to investigate further.

X-rays showed that the inside of his feet were fine so his heels were trimmed carefully in order to angle his feet forward, so far it is working and he walks on his soles. This however does not stop him from galloping around the field chasing the other shetlands!
